bloom IN FULL Amina and Corey’s colourful wedding filled with flowers took place at Devon’s Deer Park Images courtesy of Hannah Barnes Photography Amina and Corey Parchment-Youssef married on the 19th of May 2024 at Deer Park in Honiton. Amina and Corey met during freshers week in September 2013 at the University of Nottingham. “We both attended a party with an army theme, and there was an immediate mutual attraction and connection between us – despite the camouflage!” Amina tells us. Corey proposed in July 2023 on the Greek island of Spetses. “It’s a special place for me because my grandparents purchased a villa there more than 40 years ago and the growing family have visited every summer since then,” Amina tells us. “We were holidaying with two other couples who are our closest friends and watching the sunset in the Old Harbour by the island’s famous mermaid statue on the shore when Corey asked me to marry him. It was a private moment between us, one that completely surprised me and our friends - they secretly recorded it from afar and joined us after to celebrate.” Corey designed their engagement ring with the help of bespoke London jeweller, Delaval Knight. “It was based on a ring I had previously spotted,” Amina tells us. “It’s an Art Deco-inspired platinum ring with a cushion-cut aquamarine surrounded by a halo of diamonds.” Here, Amina tells us about their stunning wedding at Deer Park which was decorated with a colourful theme. 31 REAL WEDDINGS
