Large wooden double doors and windows connect the exterior spaces with the interior. Outdoor seating with wooden tables and chairs is set up alongside a firepit beside the barn, shaded by canvas canopies. Lush greenery surrounds the area, creating a charming and serene countryside setting. A short walk from the barn are the semi-formal Victorian gardens and arboretum with majestic trees providing a patchwork of shade on extensive lawns. The Magic Circle is an outdoor room featuring Acer trees and a small pavilion which creates a natural, intimate enclosure. Ceremonies take place here with no limit on capacity. With power and water provided, it’s the perfect mix of indoor amenities and a stunning outdoor backdrop. There’s the option to weatherproof this area with a stretch tent or marquee. The Secret Glade is a natural opening in mixed woodland surrounded by mature trees and natural regrowth including bluebells in season providing a spectacular backdrop for woodland ceremonies. Ceremonies take place here for up to 80 guests or, for those wanting an indoor weather-proof ceremony, Ashridge Great Barn hosts up to 120 loved ones. Receptions take place on the extensive Reception Lawn that provides shade with no limit on capacity. There’s a Victorian tennis court and space for lawn games which includes a game of croquet or cricket for the more energetic! Inside the barn, up to 140 people can be seated, or flexible seating allows up to 200 people to gather. There are options to have an indoor or outdoor bar and the sprung dancefloor provides an ideal place to boogie all night long! The adjacent outdoor space is easily accessible through two double doors providing a flow between the seating, firepit and dancefloor. The snug provides a quieter space to retreat to with cosy furniture to snuggle up on. The scenic Barn Lawn just outside offers no limit on capacity situated next to the barn for guests to spill out on to. Included in the standard hire are three nights accommodation for up to nine guests; complimentary camping and glamping for up to 20 people; vintage crockery and cutlery, a prop collection including backdrop and floristry accessories; furniture and a firepit with a log supply.
