My dad’s sea shanty group, the Cobweb Crew sang as we walked down the aisle, during our ceremony and the canapés and Pimms drink reception. Our bridesmaids were transported in a sheep trailer! I dried out bunches of lavender picked from the gardens belonging to both of our mums to display around the marquee. Our bridesmaids wore different dresses in the same dusky pink colour theme and the flowergirls looked so pretty in dresses with silk sashes made by my mum. I teamed my dress with a veil, a pair of pearl drop earrings and my wedding ring that previously belonged to my grandmother. I wore the bridal gown called Lola from Made with Love. I loved the sparkle and comfort that it offered. My friend, Alice altered it by adding a split in the skirt which made it feel comfortable to dance in. 36
