It has recently been honoured as the top glamping site in Devon and was awarded Gold in the Glamping Business of the Year category, at the 2023/24 Devon Tourism Awards. This is the 8th award that the team at Valleyside Escapes has received and the 4th from the Devon Tourism Awards since it opened just over five years ago. Emma Wright who runs Valleyside Barn & Escapes with her husband Matthew said, “To be honoured as the top glamping site in Devon is a fantastic achievement and recognition of our team’s hard work. Last year we started welcoming our first wedding glampers. For couples, the option of being able to have their loved ones stay on-site to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime moment is appealing.” Valleyside Escapes has three large safari tents overlooking the picturesque Exe Valley.
