It’s decorated in a timeless style to keep the history of the hotel present. With classical décor throughout the property, each of the rooms is unique. Weddings take place in a variety of stylish function rooms to suit a range of party sizes, from 10 to 300. There’s also the more intimate Millbay Suite, a sophisticated setting for a smaller celebration of up to 40 people boasting a partition between the two parts, which can be closed, and the chic Hayward Room, a magnificent space for up to 80 loved ones featuring beautiful bay windows flooding the room with natural daylight and showcasing superb views over King Point Marina. Couples can also get married in the restaurant surrounded by 80 guests gathered underneath the stunning chandelier. Guests can watch the cows come in for milking, the sun setting over the moors and the stars shining. The three-sided timber-framed barn is still in agricultural use during the winter, so rustic is an understatement! During the summer months, that rustic is transformed into romance as the barn takes on fantastic alterations – each wedding is truly unique and the barn provides the perfect blank canvas for couples to create their wedding design dreams. The wedding field boasts sprawling views of Dartmoor, a drinks marquee and ample rustic seating for guests to relax after the ceremony. The campsite provides guests with a great accommodation option.
