Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - March/April 2025 (Issue 80)

I wore a Martina Liana dress, Elvie. It was the last one I tried on and got that feeling straight away. The style is very me. The sleeves were beautiful and made me feel like a princess. My whole look definitely complemented our theme. I had four bridesmaids and knew I wanted them to wear something they felt comfortable in but could also wear again. I ordered the multiway dresses from Victoria Lou Bridal, two in eucalyptus and two in olive green. They looked absolutely gorgeous. I chose roses for my bouquet as they’re Dan’s favourite and I wanted to carry his favourite flowers down the aisle with me. The groom wore a suit from Barbour, which set him apart from his groomsmen who were dressed in green and grey attire of their choosing. I wanted Dan to feel comfortable and wear something that not only fit the day but also made him feel great. Dan had to wash our dog Barclay on the morning of the wedding as he’d jumped in the pond – he wasn’t thrilled! Barclay also huffed in the middle of the ceremony, which made us all laugh and made me forget what the registrar said! Our goal was for everyone to walk into the venue and say, ‘Gosh, this is so Dan and Stace!’ and I think we smashed it. Every detail we came up with spoke for me and Dan. 27
