We had two different centrepieces. Four were tall floating candle displays, while the remaining five featured huge domes of hydrangeas. We started our wedding breakfast with hummus on sourdough with tomatoes and salsa verde. Main course was roast chicken with roast vegetables, potatoes, black pudding bon bons and a jus. We also had a clear acrylic stand for our cake with a veil, which made it look like it was floating. Behind that was a white board that had a neon ‘wifey for lifey’ sign on with with flowers across the top. The venue styling really stood out for me, it was out of this world. Everything was white, clean and fresh. We had a huge flower arch behind the top table as well as N&J in white flowers to the side. Our big-day bake was three tiers, iced in white and adorned in pearls. Each layer was a different flavour: white chocolate and raspberry, lemon drizzle and cherry Bakewell. We hired Churchtown Wedding Cars for the bridal party and used two coaches from Let’s Travel to transport the guests from church to venue. 31 REAL WEDDINGS
