These are key when making the final finishing touches before the big day. We went to Mauritius for 10 days on honeymoon. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. We got to see the island on a couple of day trips, and went to Chamarel to see the seven coloured earth. We also went to the Casela Nature Park to see the lions. It’s a beautiful island, we’d love to go back. During the evening reception, we had a live band, Bamboo Fontaine, who entertained guests including their own arrangement of Shalamar’s A Night To Remember for our first dance. We ended the evening with a silent disco, which Chris had prepared with a choice of three stations to suit all tastes. One of our good friends who made our wedding cake, also made a spectacular macaron tower with more than 100 macarons. It looked stunning in a range of pastel colours. The wedding favours were made by my parents and included a mixture of personalised Love Hearts and chocolates. 42
