Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - May/June 2024 (Issue 75)

For our ceremony, pianist Robbie Roberts played and was amazing. I didn’t get to hear much but my guests all commented on how fabulous he was. It was a last-minute decision to have a pianist, but Ben said he made the ceremony. I had my bridesmaids’ dresses made in a sand colour by Bridesmaids by JB. We chose the same neckline with different bottoms to suit each of the girls individually. My dress was by Elysse Bridal, Alessia – it was the first I tried on. I wore it with a cathedral-length veil. I did my own hair and was the hairdresser for all my bridesmaids and my mum too! For our wedding favours we chose shortbread with our initials in the same print as our wedding stationery. Kelsie did an amazing job and it’s so nice to be able to support a small local business. For both of us, walking into the ceremony was the most memorable part. I was so nervous and surprised myself. It’s true when people say you forget about everyone else in the room. We chose a tux for Ben, which was slightly different to his groomsmen’s, but they still complemented each other. 38
