While Rhys says, “Ellie has a lovely personality, a wicked sense of humour and a lovely smile.” At Eckington Manor in Worcestershire, where they were celebrating Ellie’s nana’s 80th birthday, Rhys proposed. “At the end of the meal he said he had a present for me and as I opened it, he was down on one knee,” Ellie shares. “He asked me to marry him in front of my mum, dad and nana. It was perfect!” From the first time they visited The Old Palace Chester the couple found the team to be extremely welcoming and informative. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The incredible food, sampled during their tasting experience would have sold the venue to them had its classy and contemporary nature not already achieved that.
