The ceremony room was decorated with white draping and wisteria hanging from the wooden beams. Gospel choir Soulful Voices serenaded our guests during the ceremony, and I walked down the aisle to Your Love Is My Love by Whitney Houston. We walked out together to Beyonce’s 1+1. I wore Sophia by Anna Georgina. My mum chose my dress – she saw it on a mannequin and said: “You need to try that.” We knew it was the one straight away! Organisation is key! There’s nothing to get stressed about and it should be an enjoyable process, so start planning early and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it. I was set on having orchids for my bouquet, as they were my grandma’s favourite flower. We were very close and I wished she could’ve been there on the day along with my nan.
