Sheer white fabric decorated the ceremony chair backs, with lanterns running along the aisle. Tom wore a black fitted three-piece suit accessorised with a bottle green tie and handkerchief with a buttonhole made up of a white rose with foliage. He looked very handsome! The groomsmen wore the same as Tom, but their buttonholes didn’t contain the rose. I wore a floral fishtail dress by Sassi Holford, with a large side headpiece covered in diamantes and a cathedral-length veil covered in sparkles. I wanted to have something showstopping, a dress that I could look back on and think: ‘Yes, I looked good that day!’ The bridesmaids wore sage green gowns in different styles. I wanted them to be comfortable and they all loved their dresses. I designed the place cards myself. These were made to match the invitations with a marble effect and greenery in the corners with each guest’s name written in gold. 38
