The magnificent English Baroque-style house was built in the 1730s from beautiful amber coloured bricks with Bath stone for the pilasters and frontispiece. Set in the foothills of the Quantock Hills, the beautiful grounds boast many a stunning photographic backdrop from the lake to the croquet lawn. There’s also a wild woodland and guests are welcome to explore throughout the wedding celebrations. The Great Hall is a beautiful room for a civil ceremony and can seat up to 100 of your nearest and dearest. The intricate, original Italian plasterwork provides a grand and luxurious backdrop to your vows. What’s more, with flexibility in the room’s configuration you can set up the space just as you’d like it. The Carew Room is ideal for more intimate nuptials and is a wonderful option if adverse weather conditions render an outdoor ceremony impossible. However, if the sun is shining, the Gazebo is an option, overlooked by the Quantocks it offers a spectacular backdrop indeed. The Victorian Ballroom offers a showstopping setting for your formal wedding breakfast and can seat up to 100 of your loved ones. With its high ceilings and stunning chandeliers, it’s a beautiful space. The venue’s maximum capacity for an evening do is 150. Crowcombe has 11 bedrooms available for you and your guests with king-size beds and Edwardian furniture, each has its own ensuite bathroom with a variety of roll-top baths, baths and showers.
