Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding - Page number 45 - October/November 2021 (Issue 85)
Naturally rustic These gorgeous images exude an earthy vibe, bringing a sense of the outdoors in Images courtesy of Cindy Kitchker Photography A s part of an ever-growing movement towards a greener future, the suppliers involved in this local shoot were keen to show just how an environmentally-conscious wedding can be achieved. “You don’t have to compromise your look, but you do need to be mindful in your decision- making,” says shoot coordinator Gayle Trott from The Natural Vibe Co. Working with Somerset-based suppliers already enabled a reduction in the project’s overall carbon footprint, which was the first step in the right direction. A number of the team were also selected for their own sustainable ethos, whether that be through the way they travel, the materials they use or the products they source. Gayle continues, “Every detail was carefully considered: the foliage was foraged, the flowers were made from ethically-sourced paper, and the props were either up-cycled or made from coppiced, reclaimed or foraged wood, all of which meant there was very little that went to waste.” Immerse yourself in this glorious shoot with its oh-so modern, naturally rustic vibe and you’re sure to find green wedspiration aplenty.
