Jessie and Joe met via the dating app Tinder at the beginning of 2018. “I was attracted to Joe because he was funny and kind,” Jessie tells us. “I was attracted to Jessie because of her gorgeous blue eyes and willingness to laugh at my jokes!” Joe adds. Joe proposed to Jessie during a weekend away at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest. “Christmas is my favourite time of the year so Joe booked us a Winter Wonderland break in December 2022 and proposed over dessert during a cosy evening spent in our lodge,” Jessie says. SETTING THE SCENE Jessie and Joe attended a wedding fair at the Crazy Bear Stadhampton and fell in love with the hotel right away. “We wanted a unique venue and everything ticked the box for us at this hotel, from the unique décor to the incredible outdoor spaces,” Jessie tells us. “We had an outdoor ceremony which was very calming and a highlight of the day for us both. During the ceremony, when our guests were asked if anybody had any objections, our two-year-old daughter said ‘yes, so many!’” The couple’s chosen colour theme was vibrant pink and orange. “Our centrepieces were fabulous floral arrangements using pink and orange flower varieties,” they tell us. These matched the flowers used in our bouquets and on our table plan, “The entire day was a highlight from start to finish.” - Jessie and Joe REAL WEDDINGS 41
