After dinner, we hired the singer and acoustic guitar player, Marcus Pike who performed as the room was cleared and revamped for the reception. He had learnt the song that I walked down the aisle to, This Year’s Love by David Gray, which was so special. We had a moment of calm together watching him sing this before our first dance was performed and the party started! We had mini golf for our guests to enjoy with a leaderboard going, so it got pretty competitive! During our reception, a server from Oyster Meister entertained our guests by talking them through the correct way to eat oysters and shucked them in front of guests. Many of our loved ones were enjoying an oyster for the first time, so it was memorable for them - he was a huge hit! There was a moment after our couple portraits were taken that we were alone and we just took a few minutes before going back to our guests which was special.
