My dress was style D3066 by Essence of Australia. I had seen it online and fell in love with it straight away and I knew I would need to try it on to make sure it was the one. I visited the National Wedding Show with my mum and sister and we found the dress on one of the stands so my mum was desperate for me to try it on there and then! I loved it the second I put it on but I didn’t feel I could commit to it just until I tried other styles on. I compared every dress to this one so I knew it was the one for me! Don’t worry about the little things going wrong, you don’t notice them on the day!” - Samantha and Alex Our place names were white cards with black font and a gold wax seal on each one to tie them in with the rest of the décor. Our beautiful bridesmaids wore dusky blue chiffon dresses with a high neck and a split-cut back. We had a photo booth, blackjack table and roulette table during our evening reception. The casino tables were a hit with everyone, especially as we had personalised money made for the tables! I wanted a lace dress with a low-cut back and buttons down a long train - it ticked all of those boxes! Alex wore a blue check three-piece suit with a white tie and a pair of brown shoes. The groomsmen wore the same suit as Alex with dusky blue ties, purchased from the same website as the bridesmaids’ dresses in the same colour. “As favours, we gifted the gentlemen a small bottle of whiskey with gin for the ladies, plus a small envelope filled with a £1 scratch card each.” - Samantha and Alex I wore a cape veil and I had my hair up to show off the back of it. I was pleased with the entire look, it was exactly what I wanted. Our three-tier cake with gold spacers was decorated with gold leaf and a floral pattern. We had a welcome sign displayed on an easel plus an order of events and a memorial sign made for our guestbook table. 40
