I travelled to the church, and then James and I travelled from the church to The Swan At Streatley in a red and white classic convertible Austin Nash Metropolitan car which was fabulous! St Leonard is one of the oldest Saxon churches in the country and it’s where James was christened, plus many of our friends and family have been married there so it was the natural choice for our ceremony. James grew up singing in the church choir so he knew the church and community well. “We had a pallet used as a wooden sign revealing the order of the day and additional welcome signage which all looked great.” - Hannah and James I grew up in Streatley-on-Thames and James enjoyed his childhood in Wallingford so we thought it would be great to combine the two locations for our wedding day. We provided boat trips for our guests on arrival to the venue after we had arrived by boat! The ceremony was magical, especially when the choir and our friends sang for us. They performed You’ll Be In My Heart by Phill Collins from the Disney film Tarzan which sounded wonderful. 40
