Editor, Rachel Westall, catches up with some of the best venue stylists in the region to find out what trends they think will be huge over the year ahead! GUIDE The style For 2025, TJ Designer Group believes wedding venue styling is likely to be influenced by a blend of sustainability, personalisation, and modern aesthetics, with couples seeking both elegance and authenticity. These are some of the key trends to watch for: Maximalist aesthetics Bold colours and patterns are in! Moving away from minimalist trends, expect a rise in vibrant, rich colour palettes. Deep jewel tones, fiery oranges, and vintage-inspired shades, paired with eclectic patterns in textiles, florals, and even lighting. Think ornate table settings, varied textiles, and mix-and-match seating arrangements that create depth and interest. Velvet, silk, and satin may be popular fabric choices. Celebrating Al Fresco! Weddings held in outdoor venues, gardens, vineyards, beaches, rooftops or woodlands will continue to be a popular choice. Outdoor spaces allow for a more relaxed, natural aesthetic, often with open-air dining, fairylights, and natural backdrops. Tents and canopies can be draped, styled in such a way that blend with the environment and the couples’ individual style will be increasingly popular, offering shelter while maintaining the beauty of the outdoors and romantic vibes. Floral Installations Large-scale, extravagant floral designs, from hanging florals, super-sized floral installations like arches and bespoke walls, to abundance of blooms in the ceremony will dominate wedding venues. Expect a creative blend of flowers from around the world and clever luxury silk blooms, arranged in innovative ways. We certainly will be focusing on creating personalised, and immersive experiences that reflect the couple’s personality and modern aesthetics.
