was an ivory, satin, fit and flare dress with a sweetheart neckline with off-the-shoulder sleeves and buttons positioned down the train. Black tuxedos for the men, fitted the elegant theme perfectly! TIME TO CELEBRATE A violinist played as the guests arrived, during the ceremony and at the drink’s reception. Lois adds, “Everyone complimented how amazing she was. In the evening, we had a DJ and a photobooth – everyone loved it and we’ve so many fun photos to look back on!” MEMORABLE MOMENTS Lois recalls, “I was very nervous when it came to walking down the aisle, but once I was there, my nerves went away, and it was such an amazing moment having all of our friends and family there with us.” Kieran adds, “I was very nervous leading up to the ceremony and during the ceremony, as well as before my speech. I loved seeing Lois in her dress for that very first moment walking down the aisle, she looked absolutely stunning. My other memorable moment would be when we walked into the wedding breakfast and everyone was ready to greet us cheering and standing up waving their napkins, it was all so surreal. “Our joint special moment was straight after the ceremony when we walked back down the aisle. They closed the doors behind us and there was a glass of Champagne for us and we were given five minutes together in private to just take it all in, smile and relax before reuniting with our guests for a big group photo.” REAL WEDDINGS 35
