An Essex Wedding - September/October 2024 (Issue 118)

Emily’s top tip! As cliché as it sounds, enjoy every moment and do not please people! You have chosen the most special people in your life and either way they’re there to celebrate love instead of judging the day. Even though our guests did say how special our day was! In the evening, guests were entertained by DJ Andy from Herts Events who took our playlist and merged big hits which kept our guests on the dancefloor all evening EMILY & MARK’S CONTACTS Venue, www.thatamazingplace.co.uk | Photographer, www.johnpaytonphotography.com/weddings | Dress, www.confettiandlace.com Jewellery and accessories, https://lilyandroo.com | Hair stylist, Bridal hair by Natalie Jane | Make-up artist, ww.juliaedwards.co.uk Suits, Moss | Bridesmaids’ dresses, www.azazie.com | Cake, www.tinastcakes.co.uk | Flowers, https://iuliablooms.co.uk Stationery, Little Green Wedding | Catering, www.magpiecatering.com | Entertainment, https://herts-events.co.uk Decoration, www.kmshire.com | Chair sashes & napkins, www.instagram.com/preciouspartypieces_/ Order of the day fans were incorporated to keep our guests cool! A memorable moment was later in the afternoon, post ceremony. We waited patiently in the wheat fields for the sunset to beam out. Our videographer told us he knew it would come in a few minutes and to wait. I’m so glad we did, the photos are incredible. The food on the day smashed it out of the park. Guests raved about each meal, including reception canapes and evening burgers. We had a flower wall with ‘The Pearls’ light up sign for a backdrop to our photobooth. 40
