Everything was such a blur, however, it was such an amazing day having everyone together in one place. It rained heavily as we were saying our vows, and many guests said it was a sure sign that our marriage will last because of how tight the knot will now be due to the rain. Our florist was a close friend of Rich’s mum. Kate grows lot of her own flowers and sources locally as much as possible. Our cupcakes were miniature versions of our wedding cake with a simple white sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream for the centre as this is our favourite flavoured cake, we also had brownies and blondies. My bridesmaid wore a sage green multi-way dress with a tulle overlay in the colour, Fossil. The flowergirls wore a lace top which had pearl buttoned back and a full tulle skirt in ivory. Rich wore a custom-made suit from Moss Bros in Freeport, Braintree. He had ‘Amy and Rich 03.04.2024’ embroidered on the inside of his jacket. All of our photos are gorgeous, but the editorial one in the drawing room with family is our favourite. 50
