I think 2024 will see three very distinct bridal nail looks emerging: 1. Old money/classic nails I think 2024 will see a garnering popularity for ‘old money’ nails. Old money nails are luxurious. The epitome of sophistication - understated, elegant and classy. Expect gentle, nude tones to complement the bridal look without being overtly extravagant. The main focus is enhancing the natural beauty of the hands and allowing the wedding ring to take centre stage on the hands. sheer nudes that allow you to see the natural free edge underneath. Old money nails are the opposite to trendy fashion nails. These nail looks are classic and will age well - I don’t think you’ll ever look back on this style and regret it as you may with more trend led/bolder nail styles. This finish works well and is popular on oval short to mid length nails. 2. Classic French This bridal nail trend is going nowhere. It’s classic, it’s timeless, it’s elegant. We’re also seeing an increasing popularity for the skinny/micro tip French manicure, which is really cute! A micro-French manicure is a very subtle, understated take on the classic French where the line of polish is made much thinner than the typical one. Whichever your choice of French top - traditional or micro - a classic nude base and slightly off-white tip, can’t fail to complement and enhance the hands of everyone who wears it! 3. Subtle nail art a lot to show personality Similarly, for those who want to show a bit more personality with their nails, I think another trend for 2024 will be extremely subtle nail art.
