There’s also the Courtyard (120 guests), the Barn (96 seated with a further 12 standing), or the Minstrel’s Gallery (120 guests) – positioned above the main hall with views across the meadow. You can then celebrate back in the Barn, Minstrel’s Gallery, or the Main Hall (150 guests) – furnished with round tables and chivari chairs, here you’ll enjoy a delicious meal created by Limeberry Catering. Head to Channels Estate and their Essex Barn, full of historic character, excellent lighting and beams – plus a bar in the same space for dancing. Situated in the midst of Chelmsford’s Channels Estate, it also houses the Channels hotel and Brasserie restaurant within the complex, giving you plenty of options to choose from. Your ceremony is held in the Wedding Garden, with a maximum of 130 guests, under a thatched cart house, complete with amazing surround sound music system incorporating microphones for the couple and registrars. If the weather won’t allow an outside ceremony, the decision to bring it inside the Barn can be made right up to 10 minutes before!
