You should also start exfoliating three days prior to your appointment, and come in wearing loose dark clothing to avoid transfer. After your tan, you will then be provided with an aftercare leaflet to take away, which explains the importance of not scrubbing your skin, and to use oil or fragrance-free moisturisers for long-lasting results. We always suggest a trial tan, too – usually before your hen – to decide exactly what colour suits you best, as well as giving you the opportunity to see if you want to go lighter or darker for the wedding.
