WatchPilot, a UK based watch retailer, has opened its first high street store in Richmond, Surrey. Founded in 2020 at the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic by Tim Harrison and Akbar Hussain, WatchPilot launched online with success and have added new brands to the platform monthly. Now, along with affordable and high-end timepieces, the new bricks and mortar store will showcase more than 30 brands of watches and employee experienced and knowledgeable staff.
Tim Harrison tells us: “We will continue to grow our online presence, however particularly within the luxury side of watch retail, there will always be demand for a premium in store experience. If our initial Richmond store proves successful, we are open to replicating the concept in other similar locations.”
